Senior Executive Assistant

Washington D.C. – Metro Area

Role Description

The Senior Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the CEO of a multi-state construction company. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual who can manage complex schedules, coordinate meetings, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position will work directly with Senior Leadership, occasionally assisting in tasks outside of the Office of the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CEO’s schedule, including arranging and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
  • Draft multi-million dollar bids and proposals for Commercial and Government projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and employees.
  • Manage the CEO’s correspondence, including screening and responding to emails, phone calls, and letters.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for the CEO as needed.
  • Participate in meetings and take notes, preparing summaries as necessary.
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
  • Conduct research and analysis as required by the CEO.
  • Coordinate and support special projects as directed by the CEO.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field, or 5 years relevant job experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an executive assistant or related role in construction.
  • Must have experience with reading construction blueprints.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and calendar management tools.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and adequate, reliable personal transportation
  • Experience in the roofing industry is a plus. organizational and time management skills

Working Conditions:

The Senior Executive Assistant will primarily work in an office environment, with occasional local travel required. The role may require occasional overtime, weekend work, or flexibility in working hours to accommodate the CEO’s schedule.

Physical Requirements:

The Senior Executive Assistant must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time, as well as lift and carry items up to 20 pounds.
